We encourage you to learn outside of class and bring your discoveries back into the studio. Tell us about your observations and service experiences. Post links and articles to the blog and maybe comment on what they made you think about. Share pictures, videos and commentaries on service encounters you experience or observe. This is a very young field and we’re all learning about it together.

Thoughtful

We are very interested in the details of your ideas and how they evolve. In our conversations we are eager to hear about the directions you discarded as much as those you choose to follow. We will be dealing with sketches, prototypes, and works in progress—your ideas don’t need to be perfectly polished to be really interesting.

Collaborative

We believe that better things result when people share their knowledge and skills. You will work on projects individually as well as in groups, so everyone’s unique strengths will shine through. Be generous with your feedback and advice, don’t be shy about participating in group conversations, and don’t hold back when you see someone you can help.
